What problems are you running into? I also ran into some challenges, but I got through them by asking ChatGPT and showing it screenshots of what I encountered along the way
I'm having the same problem. Says it can not verify but I put in the TXT into my DNS records correctly.
Did you do it through your website CPanel? Thats what I did. I logged into my websites CPanel. And used the 'Zone Editor' tool in Cpanel. I then added a new Txt rcord. pasted in the code provided, and then hit the CHECK button, and it said 'verfied'. I didnt really know waht i was doing - but seemed to work
I had to try a few variants, but this worked: set a DNS record of type TXT with name of @ and value of the given OpenAI verification string in your website DNS settings.
I'm having an similar problem with that is with changing an verified domain to another domain doesn't work. Try using MXtoolbox and the txt record check to find out if it's an DNS problem.
Same prob. I added the new txt record, added the data from openai. It will not verify (tried for 3 days)
I have the same problem, I have done this now three times, it is the correct TXT file, I have verified with my DNS and I have even tracked that TXT over the entire planet on every server and it is correct and yet, I still cannot get it to verify my website. I have used different browsers to try to mitigate this issue and still to no avail. Any insights would be appreciated.
Does anyone know how to get ahold of support to talk through issues?
Same here did the verification 2 days ago and still unable to be verified.
also here, I validate with mx tools that the record has propegated, not sure why its not being recognized when I click verify in profile builder
has anyone got this working by chance?
yea, it worked on my end
Not sure what you guys are doing wrong though
any out there willing to help me troubleshoot?
I am still trying very hard on this problem as well, I have spent 8 days on it and done everything I can think of.
mind sharing your dns record?
You can censor the actual record
