Because the system prompt for DALL-E 3 asks it not to mention the prompt, answering your question is against the rules of the Discord. That said, if you analyze the system prompt, you might find your own workaround. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

OpenAI really don't seem to value transparency.

#

I tried to link the system prompt on GitHub and got timed out. That's how much they value transparency.

#

You can Google it though. "GitHub ChatGPT-Autoexpert" should take you to the repository. There, you can click on the DALL-E 3 link and read exactly what OpenAI are telling ChatGPT to do behind the scenes.

#

Shame on CensoredAI for timing me out for trying to provide a helpful URL.

Hello! Do you mean the image prompts used for DALL·E?

  • In the app, tap and hold on a DALL·E image and you should see a "Copy Prompt" popup. (Seems like Android app only? See below.)
  • On the mobile web version, open a DALL·E image to view it and then swipe up in the black area under the image. This will cause the image prompt to appear, but it won't be selectable. I usually switch to desktop mode if I want to copy an image prompt on mobile, or just use the feature in the app!

I tried this suggestion on the version of the official OpenAI app and it doesn’t work. The way I got this is by opening the chat on the browser and then swiped the black part surrounding the image.

#

I did get a cool thing from the iOS app tho. This sticker from one of my images.

#

Apple overrides some stuff from the image to use the funcionality built into iOS for this kind of stuff apperantly.

No, these are the menus available.

#

Two workarounds possible atm:

    • Ask DALL-E to return the interpreted prompt in the answer.
    • Use browser on the phone.

No, just the following:

Image 1, all options shown on each corner
Image 2: upper left list icon that shows list of images rendered.
Image 3: lower left share icon
Image 4: lower right icon that enables markup
