#OpenAI Document based GPT

Hi @sharp prawn. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
OpenAI has developed a range of AI products and tools, including the GPT series of language models, such as GPT-4 and GPT-3.5. These models have been widely used for tasks such as language translation, content generation, and conversational AI. They are not specifically based on OpenAI's documentation, but they are trained on a diverse range of internet text. However, they can be fine-tuned on specific tasks or datasets, including potentially OpenAI's documentation, to create a more specialized tool or assistant.
For example, OpenAI has introduced GPTs and custom Actions, which allow you to create a tailored version of ChatGPT for a specific purpose. This could potentially include creating a version of GPT that is specialized in understanding and answering questions about OpenAI's documentation.
However, as an AI developed by OpenAI, I don't have information about any GPT models developed by KappaAI or any other entity. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, I would recommend checking the official sources or contacting the relevant organizations directly.

@narrow whale By GPT, I mean is there any such Custom GPT that contains all the info about OpenAI's documentation?
you have to tag the kapa ai bot to ask followups ๐

Let me check the knowledge base for you. One moment! :books:
Based on the information provided in the extracts, there isn't a specific mention of a custom GPT model that contains all the information about OpenAI's documentation.
However, OpenAI's GPT models, such as GPT-4 and GPT-3.5, have been trained on a diverse range of internet text, and they can be fine-tuned on specific tasks or datasets. This means it's theoretically possible to fine-tune a GPT model on OpenAI's documentation to create a specialized tool or assistant that has a deep understanding of the content in the documentation.
Fine-tuning is available for some models like gpt-3.5-turbo, babbage-002, and davinci-002 (source (https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/text-generation)). Experimental access to GPT-4 fine-tuning is also available, and developers can request access via the fine-tuning UI (source (https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/fine-tuning)).
However, creating such a model would require access to the fine-tuning feature and the necessary expertise to carry out the fine-tuning process. It's also important to note that the performance of the fine-tuned model would depend on the quality and comprehensiveness of the fine-tuning process.
For more information on fine-tuning, you can refer to the fine-tuning guide (https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/fine-tuning) provided by OpenAI.

Thanks hehe
@prime kestrel i don't understand why they didn't create a GPT for OpenAI's documentation tho.. would have preferred that a lot over a discord bot..
not everyone has gpt4 ๐
it may be made, but not documented anywhere
or at least, not where this bot got its information.
Fair enough
But would love to have one as a GPT as well
heres to hoping the kapa ai devs are listening ๐ ๐ ๐ป
@prime kestrel we are! Docs is also a super super good idea.๐ ๐
