Hourglasses are something that are quite adaptable to various art forms and different interpretations. Many variables, can change, including the design, and what flows through the hourglass. The first image is a mixed media representation of an hourglass, symbolizing aspiration and the formation of new memories for the upcoming year. The artwork blends various artistic materials and techniques, with the hourglass centrally positioned. Its flowing sand metaphorically captures the essence of time and the anticipation of future experiences, conveying the excitement and potential of the new year in a rich, layered, and multidimensional style. The other themes (in order): pixel art from early computers, an underwater hourglass, and steampunk and Art Deco versions

"Hourglass" was a daily theme a while ago (3 months?) when we were using DALL-E 2, and I couldn't get it to break or distort the traditional "hourglass" shape. I just tried it again and still can't get it. capybarathink

"An art piece combining Art Nouveau, Ukiyo-e, and Dethereal styles on textured rice paper. It depicts a close-up of a woman gazing intently at a misshapen hourglass, symbolizing the distortion of time. The scene is illuminated by ethereal moonlight, aligning with the Dethereal style's heavenly light in dark surroundings. A black cat sits by her side. The background features a lush forest with ancient trees, intertwined green vines, and vivid flowers, embracing Ukiyo-e's nature themes. The artwork is marked by delicate, fluid lines and ornate Art Nouveau details. Colors are subtle yet expressive, capturing the muted palette typical of Dethereal, with an emphasis on moonlit hues. The lighting is soft and heavenly, creating a melancholic yet calm atmosphere. The artwork is a fusion of symbolic and emotional depth, blending different styles into a contemplative and ethereal experience."
