For several months, leaving ChatGPT on voice and idle would occasionally trigger a "thank you for watching" response. Today, the behavior escalated when it interpreted my silence as "thank you for watching" in Russian/Ukrainian. This is strange given I don't speak either language. I never reported it because I didn't think much of it but now im wondering if anyone else has gotten this. Im ASSuming that its trained on YouTube/Twitch transcriptions as well, so "thank you for watching" seems 'normal' but I kinda freaked out tonight when ChatGPT switched up from English to Russian when I didn't say a word.
It does this at least 5 to 10 times a month. I included a few screenshots but search didn't want to load previous messages anymore. I think I use this too much lol.
To replicate:
- Have a voice conversation about anything
- After ChatGPT verbally gives you a response, dont respond back
- Let ChatGPT idle (waiting for your input) do not press stop nor the red "X" just leave it and wait
- Optional - make random sound
