What are the payment options available for those wanting to pay through OpenAI's ChatGPT app?

OpenAI currently accepts payment via credit card for its ChatGPT Plus subscription. This information is available in the ChatGPT Plus subscription section of the OpenAI help articles source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/6950777-what-is-chatgpt-plus).

If you're an existing ChatGPT user, you can subscribe to ChatGPT Plus in two ways:

  1. Go to chat.openai.com (http://chat.openai.com), click your name on the lower left corner of the screen, and then set it up via My Plan.
  2. Or, via the iOS app. Tap the three dots which are located on the top right corner, go to Settings, go to Subscription source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7905739-chatgpt-ios-app-plus-subscription).

Please note that the ChatGPT Plus subscription and the ChatGPT API are billed separately. The API has its own pricing, which can be found at OpenAI Pricing (https://openai.com/pricing). The ChatGPT Plus subscription covers usage on chat.openai.com only and costs $20/month source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/6950777-what-is-chatgpt-plus).
