ChatGPT's Chat Freezes Then it crashes

I was chatting with chatgpt on a conversation then suddenly, chatgpt stopped responding to my questions so I closed ChatGPT and reopened the website again but, I couldn't access to the conversation. when I tried to open it, I saw a blank Chat and after 1 second, Everything crashed and I couldn't click on anything. and yes I tried Refreshing the page, clearing cache and logging out and in But nothing worked. I can still access to my other conversations but I cant access this important one. I also tried opening ChatGPT in an incognito browser, removing unwanted extensions and disabling cookie/ad blockers. It would be wonderful if you could give me some solutions to get rid of this bug.

I tried using Bing, Chrome and incognito tabs
I also tried switching devices. it first happened on my phone then I switched to my laptop but its the same

I don't use chatgpt's app on my phone, I always used chatgpt in chrome on my phone
I tried Using Chrome, Edge and opened an incognito tab in chrome

Can you try the app on your phone? And, can you try in Firefox on your laptop? Chrome & Edge are both Chromium-based, so if it happens to be related to that, Firefox would be a good non-Chromium test.

even tho in private/incognito mode

I tried to access my conversation in the ChatGPT app for Android as well as on the website multiple times.
The ChatGPT app as well as the website are crashing immediately when I click on my conversation.
I use the last version of the ChatGPT Android app: 1.2023.352.
And I use the Google Chrome browser app on my Android smartphone.
I really hope the OpenAI team is able to resolve this bug. 😊 ✨

I've been having the issues for about a month now roughly. I've tried reporting these issues and they've completely ignored me every time. They won't even acknowledge it either.

Hi all, I am also having this same issue. In fact, it takes about 10 mins for ChatGPT to answer 1 question. I get tons of "Page Unresponsive" messages, the entier page freezes and offten crashes. I have tried the following and nothing helps: 1. Tried clearing browser's cache and cookies 2. Used an incognito browser and different internet browser/computer 3. Disabled cookie blockers 4. Tried connecting to another network. This is so frustrating - what is going on?

I have a long conversation but I think the best user experience will be guaranteed when it doesn't matter how long the conversation is. 😊
I also use another chatbot, Pi by Inflection AI where I have the possibility to have endless conversations without any problems.
And I also don't have problems with Bard by Google.
Please fix this and make the best user experience with giving us the possibility to have longer conversations with ChatGPT. 😊
Some people are talking about specific topics or are planning something with ChatGPT over a long time with a lot of messages.

I can access my conversation in the ChatGPT app for Android again without any problems. 🥳 🎉
It's still not working on the website. The website is still not able to load my conversation.

Hi, I installed the recent update of the ChatGPT app for Android in the Google Play Store. 😊
I updated the Android app to version: 1.2024.004.
But I'm not sure if that's really the reason for fixing the problem. 🤔

My conversation still doesn't load on the website, it's working only in the ChatGPT app for Android again. 😊 ✨

Glad to hear that! I must've posted this in another thread, but we are working on making the chat work better for long conversations. Sorry that it's a problem on web still!
