"Error talking to" custom GPT action

Steps to reproduce:

1. Any text prompt
2. eg, "test" or "why does choir exist?"

Expected result:

It should (and until yesterday evening did) call an action — without authentication — on my server.

Same error on my friend's computer. not sure which browser and OS version.

If you do a search for 'The requested action requires approval' you will see there is a lot of others reporting the issues as well. Along with it being posted here https://community.openai.com/t/facing-issue-the-requested-action-requires-approval/556967/13

ah, i see. thanks. still worth noting that this bug applies to non-authenticated actions as well as API key and OAuth

The work around doesn’t work for POST requests, only GET requests. In my case, it’s useless. Thanks for sharing though

Yea, it didn't end up working for me either, then started running into other issues. I have just shut down development for the day, hopefully it get fixed soon'ish...

So it’s mostly fixed now. The action works. But the “always allow” option doesn’t do anything; it asks to “confirm” or “deny” for each action. I expect that’ll get fixed soon.

Am the only one still having problems with this? I see nothing from OpenAI in regards to the issue being worked on. It's complete silence, if there any OpenAI employees that are here, there or anywhere that can make some comment on this?
