hello I need help with a custom GPT, if someone has any idea how to do that.

I want to create a custom GPT that track my car mileage consumption (and then give me some stats after)
But the main point I try to do, is that every time I open a chat and give him one number, it store it somewhere, and then if I ask him later show me a chart of my mileage consumption etc, it give me the chart of all my input.
When I tried with the builder, every time it failed to store the data.

Did someone figured a way to do that?

I have a similar question. I want to store documents to be retrieved when asked about them. Something like an interactive user manual. I've asked it to store these, it says it can but when I ask for them back it recreates them, it does not give me the original.

This is done by connecting an API to a database or a speadsheet.

Yes, you need to add actions, action should lead to external API
I seen a video where a guy connected gpt bot to google services

I did not had time to try it myself but if it wold allow connecting to google sheets it would be awesome

I am also exploring a thingy called back4app
It allows to create servers/websites right in chatgpt
I wanted to create actions with it but so far failed
I will do video when I succeed 😉
