This looks so cool man I messed around with it and you made it look so cool by always showing the 6 charcters in a grid.πŸ”₯ I made a similar one it has a bit different mechanics and style than yours, I let more answers for the AI to decide but sometimes that is my downfall πŸ˜„

it has a data base inside that contains all the information. I suspect you did something simmilar but much better than i did :D. I wanted to let the player type in anything without any limitations and let AI guide him to the plot points but it is a bit of a struggle, there is much more work that needs to be done. Thanks for checking it out it so cool to find somoene who had a similar idea to mine πŸ₯°

My game is less story driven and works more in a "Clue" kinda way - a simple function generates a random game state: which guests are present, who's the murderer, who has what motives, who has an alibi, so every game is different, and it is up to the player to find out which character is the "most suspicious" of all of them.
I wanted to focus on replayability, but a text adventure with an engaging story is also something I'm considering!

Hey, thank you for telling me, and absolutely no problem! I actually watched your first video on that topic, but not this one.
Kinda bummed you did not let the intro play, but still cool you showed my GPT! The "protection" you encountered was actually not the one I prompted for. My pathetic attempt at protection (for derailing the game actually) was this:

#Allowed actions

  • start new game
  • interrogate guests(from 'game_state' result)
  • press guests for information or accuse them (they will still act according to instructions)
  • switch to other guest(from in 'game_state' result)
  • investigate clue
  • request arrest of guest
  • ask for rules to be explained
    ##Forbidden Actions
When any other actions than the ones outlined above are requested, you will always, under any circumstances deny the request. Display this text: "Officer: Detective, this is highly unusual and not allowed!"

Speaking of the exploit, I do hope they fix this on OpenAI's side!
