#After updating app, can no longer access active ChatGPT+ subscription

**Steps to reproduce:**
> 1. Creating text-to-image in ChatGPT+ per normal
> 2. Then clicked blue "update" button to update the app

**Expected result:**
> Update app and continue making images.

**Actual result:**
> ~~No longer allows~~ App does not allow access to my paid subscription. Shows "Free plan" and prompts me to upgrade (except upgrades are shown as frozen). My subscription is paid through November 27 and is set to auto-renew but I can't find a way to get back to ChatGPT+ (in the app). 

**Additional information**
> Browser:  Official iOS App
> OS:  iOS ~~16.5.1~~ 16.7.2

Edit: Updated info:

My Plus account does seem to be still working in desktop web browser (Chrome, Mac OS) 
My Plus account is also working in Safari on iPad

I realize now that what occurred was not that the account suddenly stopped recognizing my subscription. What happened is that I was in Safari and saw a banner at the top with the option to open in the official app instead. Except this time the "open" button was "update." So I updated. This prompted the app to open after updating (whereas before I had been working in Safari), and the app doesn't recognize my paid subscription. (No idea why, since both website and app use my Apple I.D. for login.)

At this point, the info provided here is just for OpenAI, should you want to look into app account issues with Apple login.  I'm happy to keep using my Plus plan in-browser.

My issue is similar. I have a paid plus account. My status shows that I have a plus account, yet I cannot use the plus features and it tells me to upgrade to a plus account.

Correct, however, it just allowed me to upgrade again so all is back to normal. I’m still a bit freaked out that it happened, but thrilled to be back in business
