Guide to help you use this GPT: So I've gotten a lot of messages about using this GPT for game assets, specifically how to use it properly so I wanted to make a guide for everyone who is currently using it.

Sprite Me Baby is a GPT for creating multiple perspectives of a particular sprite based object.

First of all you just name an item/character you want and then it will make it. Sometimes you have to prompt it multiple times to get the style or views you want. But usually within 3 tries using the same prompt I'll get something that is useable.

If you like something and part of it is cut in half. Just throw it in a program like photoshop and split it down the good half and paste after flipping the other half, extremely easy. If you don't know how to use an art program like photoshop, then you need to take the time to learn that first before making any game that you're trying to provide the art for.

If you find an art style you like and you need more of that particular type of character/item. Simply say "make another one just like this please", and it will usually keep that art style.

If you find a style you like, but want to make subtle changes. Say "make one just like this but" - add or change what you specifically want to change or add.

To animate you can throw it in a program like smack studios for a full on sprite sheet. Or do it manually in something like photoshop.

All in all like all ai programs it's not perfect, but it's a great starting point for your games assets and pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. It requires a chatgpt plus subscription.
