#ChatGPT unable to load site

I get a screen that says the following on ChatGPT:
"Unable to load site

Please try again later. If you are using a VPN, try turning it off. Check the status page for information on outages."

This happens on both my laptop and my phone's browser using mobile data.

On the Android app it also doesn't work, it just gives an error every time I try to submit a message.

I work on mobile data a lot, even have a portable wifi device which I'm using at the moment. I do have a VPN for work but it doesn't work when that's off either.

I was home with COVID the last couple weeks so I hadn't noticed it not working with mobile data. It worked before that so I suppose it's from some security update?

As for the VPN, it's a Global Protect VPN and I'm not able to change settings on it other than location. But the bug doesn't appear to be related to the VPN at all.

Interesting, no VPN installed at all on your phone? And same bug on both WiFi and your cellular network there? Do you have any kind of adblocker running on the phone, or something like it that might be filtering your traffic/changing your DNS settings?

No VPN on the phone. I'm not on wifi so this is specific to cellular networks. My mobile wifi device also uses cellular networks.

I was on a Zoom call so I tried leaving that but it still doesn't work

Oh I figured it out. My phone connected to the mobile wifi device without me realizing, so it's specific to that device

It works on regular mobile data
