What penny pinching move was done to change what was a great feature and use of GPT. Now it isn't capable to do simple coding anymore. WHY? BRING IT BACK!! IT TAKES SO MUCH MORE COMPUTING POWER NOW TO WORK OUT THE MANY MANY ERRORS IT MAKES compared to the one off generation of working code it did months ago. This new version is terrible for code.

If you have some examples of it doing poorly you could share with me I'd love to pass along to research. Also if you have comparable examples of the previously "good" generations that is good to compare.

Sharing via the ChatGPT share UI is best.

It is SO poor that is has become unusable. I would need to report every post of GPT4. It doesn't read our posts completely, and it.... doesn't even remember ----___ the last post ___----. The first iteration of GPT4 was super solid and it's been less and less reliable at every update. The last update is the worst and the performance fell of a cliff. I need to go back to GPT 3.5 for most of the work now. The user experience, I am sorry to say is terrible. I am very frustrated because I feel these product decisions are not made by people who love their product like we do lol. I guess it all comes down to servers costs, but I have to spend around 25 posts to what I would have been doing in 2-3 posts a few months ago. I will be actively looking for a replacement solution in the future if the product quality continues to degrade.

And I have finally managed to find the openAI customer support email and I got a super generic reply of clearing my browser cache, that sometimes we receive a network down message etc. lol

@weak silo if you want a trick to bring back the real GPT4 in situations where its critical to have a sensible answer, you have to press the thumb down at its post, it will then read your post for real, analyze and give you a sensible answer haha... Go figure out. 🤦‍♂️
