Since about a week ago ChatGPT doesn't work in 80% of tries. It has gotten significantly slower and most responses do not get completed with the message "Network Error". This happens both at home and on uni wifi so the issue is not my connection. It also happens in the web app and on iOS. It has basically become unusable because I have to wait forever to get a response and the responses rarely complete.
Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Yes, it has a lot of failed requests for several reasons network error, something may have gone wrong... etc.

I get an error on almost every message (9/10) on gpt4, with errors like:

yeah they def need to update it so regenerations on failed responses dont count against users.
