Welcome to Owly, the AI-powered owl that's designed to make learning fun and interactive for children! Owly is a unique, child-friendly assistant, tailored to engage young minds with a wide range of educational topics and activities.

✨ What makes Owly special ✨

Child-Friendly Design

Owly features an adorable, owl-themed conversation style that's easy and inviting for kids to use.

Educational Focus

From basic math and science to fun facts about nature, Owly is loaded with content that educates and entertains. While it also can help with homework, it's encouraged to not tell the answer straight away but to help get the answer by yourself.

Safe Conversations

We've implemented a lot of very strict restrictions on the topics Owly can discuss, ensuring that the content is age-appropriate and very safe for children of all ages.

👪 Parental Guidance Recommended

While Owly is designed with children's safety in mind, we believe in a collaborative approach to learning and technology. We strongly recommend that parents or guardians supervise their children's interactions with Owly. Although we've made every effort to tailor the content for young users, we cannot guarantee that it's perfect. Parental supervision ensures that your child's experience with Owly is not only educational but also aligns with your family's values and expectations.

Just added language support. Sometimes it responded in english, even if you were using a different language. I just fixed that and added language specific features too!

Disclaimer: I got a DM about data protection for their child, so I wanted to address this here. I don't - I can't even - store your data at any time. Your data could be sent to OpenAI for training purposes though. To prevent ChatGPT from sending anything to OpenAI please make sure you turn of "Chat history & training" in the settings which you will find when you click on your profile in the bottom left of ChatGPT's interface.

yes. I saw your instructions also. You may keep it more simple. Only 2 sentence is enough fpr the conversation with 3 anand 4 year old. I upload the bedtime stories as pdf. whe my son says tell a story. It is randomly choosing from the pdfs. Our boy loves to spespeak in conversation mode. We are using it for 2 or 3 months. And hehe is 3.5 years old he loves empathy and critical thinking , thanks to gpt

Thats great to hear. I'm testing this with my 6 year old cousin and she really loves it so far. But I already have some things in mind to fine tune it even more. Thanks for your thoughts! 😇

I think phones and technology is harmfull to children very much but the voice conversation is great . We are using an owl bkuetotoh speaker. I cand send you video or photo. And I upload our family tree to custom instruduction. When it is adapting a story about planes or cars or adventures it uses pur familiyu memebers names. And keep the attetion. search for philosopy for children. You can upload that question types .

I am wondering. You said you are using it for 2 to 3 months. This feature isn't even out for a week yet. Are you talking about smth else?

Initially, before the Custom Introduction feature was introduced, I used to manually input my details at the start of each chat. Then, I utilized an external voice generation program to provide voice output for Android, as Voice Conversation wasn't available at the time. When the Voice Conversation feature was implemented, I continued this method. With the introduction of Custom Introduction, I included characteristics about my child and instructions on how to interact with him and me, our family members, his favorite stories, and the titles of Aesop's fables that I wanted reinterpreted as non-violent, gender-equal, and non-scary tales. All these were part of the Custom Introduction. Now, with the release of this new feature this week, I have loaded all these new functionalities into it

That sounds cool. But the main task of my GPT is not to tell stories or specific topics. I am a proponent of the idea that children should be given the opportunity to develop topics that really interest them at an early age, as this will be relevant to the child's later career and character. Thus, the core competency, and as I have instructed it very thoroughly, it focuses primarily on educating children in various areas of interest, taking a very supportive approach and making learning playful and easy, even if the topics are more advanced. It achieves this by different learning methods I implemented which it follows strictly. I think that's where our two GPT's are very different from each other. I would be very happy if you could test it in detail, maybe even if your child is a little older 🤗

When I open the link above, I get a message saying "GPT inaccessible or not found". Are it my settings? Or do I need ChatGPT Plus?
