Okay well, ChatGPT's math knowledge is on a level of an 8th grader. Above that level - depending on the questions asked - it tends to hallucinate

Well I am no math geek, so I can't judge. But thats what I heard from professionals

I think I confirmed elsewhere on here, if you tick code interpreter on GPTs its just as good as wolfram alpha, I just tested this GPT with a few very hard questions and it got it right, great work

I used gpt mobile to listen to a youtube video of a teacher explaining, then pasted the text into a .txt, then uploaded it to gpt

yeah its decent, it don't explain in as many steps as the bot I was trying to build, but the quality of each step is decent, I would personally just ensure you have code interpreter ticked and it is 'validating' the answers else it will give wrong answers, people preach the wolfram alpha API is great, but its actually not a lot of the time its answers are still wrong on more advanced math and it misses out steps etc...

Just saying i'm a math beginner and i try to find excellent explanations and teaching of maths , but it's really really hard for a beginner to find that
