The Conspiracy Crafter is a simple GPT I made with the GPT Builder (and very little adjustments). Its purpose in life is to get you to laugh at its wacky, ridiculous, and hilarious takes on why the world is the way it is.

Moon landing? The moon was acting this whole time! Socks missing? Your dryer is a portal to another dimension! The possibilities are endless. Have fun!

Update: New prompt helps it present its findings more seriously and avoid wrecking the joke at the end lol

at the end ChatGPT realised it was spreading misinformation that could be harmful so it was like oh crap

yeah, my two biggest concerns for this were

  1. Completely ruining the joke, and;
  2. Oppositely, saying stuff that actually sounds believable
    I'm making some progress with another work-in-progress prompt that should get it to say stuff that can't possibly be harmful while still presenting it completely seriously. Getting those two things to happen at the same time has been a challenge xD
