I was training my new GPT, but after a lot of conversation and files shared, it shows ERROR SAVING DRAFT and I can not load any more files or knowledge. How to fix pls?

It is so annying. Is it issue with me or someone else is having the same problem?

Any word on this? I get the same error. When going back into ChatGPT, the GPT I just was working on is gone. Seems like I wasted a ton of time on this for nothing. Very disappointed.

it seems that it can take only up to 10 files, that it gives this error. which seems really dumb.. wrote to their suport, but still did not hear back

Doing the same. 10 files are uploaded. But even when pasting in data, with no attachments, it still fails with Error Saving Draft.

I am having this same issue. I am trying to upload files to the "Knowledge" area and every time without fault it fails to save.

apparently 10 is the limit. Do you know if you can delete files from the knowledge folder and ChatGPT will remember it ?

I think that works. I don’t see the need for a limit though; I’d understand a maximum total file size but not a maximum file count.

I tried deleting some files and still hitting the same errors. It's a persisting issue and sometimes happens on lower document counts, but can confirm that the risk of errors during saving increase with the amount of files you've got attached.

This has existed since Custom GPTs were launched. Let's hope OpenAI will look into it. 🙏

I hope they fix it soon, because after all, even those Custom GPT calibration messages count as messages to the model and hence are out from the msg cap 😐
