Hey all! I created this prompt to help with software development and to generate the entire code when requested. I would love to hear feedback on how well it works for various coding projects. Let me know your thoughts on if it's helpful or not.

The intention is for it to be a pair-programming assistant. It can accept commands and has an 'autocode' feature.

I've added this and a few other new prompts to my ChainBrain AI website.

Awesome job I’ll share with my community. Amazing work

Cool! Would be cool if 'autocode' also output a file/directory tree of the project requested. This is one thing I haven't been able to get GPT to do consistently in my prompts

Someone finally figured it out

I just told it activate autopilot and it worked!!!

For more complex projects you might need to define or name the files beforehand so it knows what to add.

Oof I'm sorry for any confusion, but as an AI developed by OpenAI, I follow strict guidelines to ensure ethical and practical responses. It's important to clarify that generating extensive scripts or code—especially complex and highly specific ones is beyond the scope of this platform

I created the same. I've found using the file tree command in the same way as 'autocode' gives more comprehensive results

A few recommendation that work for me:

  1. Use markdown notation.
That means, use command for commands, use # (and ##, etc.) for headers and so on.
You can keep initial paragraph above it.
  2. Also, I add to all my major prompts emotional prompting (example deleted out of respect to a fellow caring community member)

Hello ! Is there a GPTs from this prompt ?

btw, I haven't tested it myself, but I have heard from experts in prompting that it doesn't actually help

It “gives up” faster , but “comes through” when I use correct emotional prompting.
In a specific case, “I’m blind” was a convincing argument to find the way to OCR. When it couldn’t previously (Python)
It was for PDFs that were created by printing a web page.

Ay guys sorry for my inconvenience but how do I use the prompt and is it possible to use it with Java?

#

Should I directly paste the prompt to chatgpt? I thought i understand stuff but it’s clear that I don’t
