DALL-E 3 not working within the GPT-4 (All Tools)

For a couple of days now, when trying to use image generation from the default tab, it is giving me errors; it works properly when used from the DALL-E 3 tab, but the default all tools one won't budge, always goes on for a 10ish seconds and returns with an error.

Mine doesn't seem to know to use DallE for an image creation query. I just get:

"I'm sorry for any misunderstanding, but my capabilities are limited to text-based interactions and I'm unable to create images, including 8-bit pixel art. Works on the desktop however but mine hasn’t been converted to ‘All tools’ yet for the web.

It’s only on my iOS device. My desktop on the web version is still the separate multimodal option.

So i have an idea, just use your IOS device in all tools mode, then tell it " search for the latest news today"
And then, let me know the answer it can search or not?

Yes. I don’t have an option on iOS to change from ‘all tools’ back to individual models. Unless I’m missing something. I’m on iOS Version 1.2023.305 of ChatGPT.

It must be a bug but OpenAI is usually on top of this, especially, after their first DevDay unless the problem is that unknown or they’re unaware. Are you on Android? I don’t see an update on iOS App Store.

That explains the version difference but I’m sure we’re on the same code base.

Ok, i hope they will fix it soon, i spend money to use all tools not to use the GPT 4 without any special features lol

Now as a work around I log into ChatGPT using my browser on my phone since it’s still not in ‘all tools’ mode or use my MacBook and airdrop the finished files to my phone or do what I have to do on my laptop.

I would think these threads are monitored and they’re working on it or after a big devday they’re napping and we’ll see a fix tomorrow or by the end of the week. 😂
