I'm wanting an image which depicts a black rose being burned with white fire, where the fire is fully white. DALL-E 3 generates fire thats blue at the bottom and red at the tips, and emanating smoke.

Could you tell us the prompt used for either picture?
I think the prompt is the culprit. ChatGPT and DALL·E are different software. Where ChatGPT understands negatives, DALL·E does not in many cases. Your request to not have smoke can go into the prompt, resulting in smoke.
Make sure the prompt is something like "a black rose with a white flame". Or even better, a negative that is the word itself. "A black rose with a smokeless white flame."
Tried it out, but had smoke and blue as well.
One we can definitely remedy by asking for a black and white picture. The smoke I'll have to try some more to have it gone.
