Bug Report:
Steps to reproduce:
- Be a user of ChatGPT Plus on both web and iOS (native app)
- Ensure you're only using one account (in my case, logged in with Google on both web and iOS)
- Let subscription lapse
- Renew subscription via Apple
- Successfully use ChatGPT Plus on iOS app
- Attempt to use ChatGPT Plus on web @ chat.openai.com
Expected result:
Can use ChatGPT Plus on web
Actual result:
Cannot use ChatGPT Plus on web (plus, weird behavior...see attached image)
Additional information
Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, DuckDuckGo
OS: MacOS (Sonoma)As you can see from the screenshot, the ChatGPT 4 tab is locked, and I was able to click Upgrade...but then the modal notes my current plan is already Plus...
Also, before anyone asks, YES — I cleared the browsers' respective caches, logged out then in again, and tried both of those things in different orders, etc.
This is an actual edge-case, not a user-error.
