Others have been experiencing this, yes. It's likely that there's nothing you've done wrong on your end, so unfortunately you'll just have to try some troubleshooting on your end to see if you can identify where the mismatch might be!
Can you try:
- Different device
- Different browser
- Different network
- Different platform (app/web)
- Disabling VPN, if relevant
- Disabling "Web Protection" feature in VPN, if relevant
- Incognito/private tab
- Disabling browser extensions
- Adjusting DNS, firewall, and/or antivirus settings
Disabling "Web Protection" feature in VPN, if relevant - how does this work?
Ah nah I don't have these on linux
If you have a VPN, it may have a separate feature in it called "Web Protection." Disabling this separate from disabling the VPN has been fixing some network problems for some people.
And I'm not sure what you mean by not having these on Linux, you can definitely try any or all of these things on any operating system!
Look, thanks for the advice, but I
1 - haven't found any documentation on web protection at openvpn (perhaps I'm stupid)
2 - I need the VPN to be able to connect to my server
This has been working perfectly for MONTHS, problems started 3 days ago.
I haven't been updating network or browser or anything in the meantime, so I suppose the problem might be at their side.
Seems to be working on firefox for now.
Glad it works in Firefox! Yes, again probably nothing you've done at all, just weird Chromium/non-Chromium stuff that's been affecting some recently.
