Bug Report:
Steps to reproduce:
- Enter the sidebar menu
- Tap or click "Retry" when it says "Unable to load history"
Expected result:
History shows up
Actual result:
"Unable to load history" reappears.
Unable to start a new chat - response is "Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com"
Additional information
I am able to access my chat history and use ChatGPT on every device (Ipad, Iphone, Mac) but my Windows computer. It has been over a month since the system has not worked. I am receiving no error codes aside from the message “unable to load history." When I requested help, I was given a list of things to check for to hopefully resolve the issue. Nothing has worked. I tried responding to the help chat again and have not received a response.
I have completed all of the following:
1. Checked to see if I was connected to a VPN (I was not - I am on the same network as all of my other working devices).
2. Attempted to use an incognito browser and a different internet browser/computer to see if the issue was a security add-in or extension. This did not fix the issue.
3. Disabled cookie blockers
4. Tried connecting to another network
5. Relaunched the app
6. Uninstalled and Reinstalled the browser.
7. Checked for temporary server issues - there were none and website is still working perfectly on my other devices.
8. Checked to see if I was located in a supported country. I am located in the US, a supporting country.
9. Restarted and updated my computer.
10. Restarted and updated my browser.
