Hi,

For the past two days, I have been unable to submit messages or create new conversations on ChatGPT. Any message written goes into the void. It is the same when I regenerate a message from ChatGPT. When I edit the last message I sent, regardless of the conversation, I get the error "There was an error generating a response".

Despite my research, I could not find a solution that could resolve my problem. I have tried on my PC (Windows 11) with Firefox (no extension is linked to ChatGPT) and Microsoft Edge (no extensions) and on my phone with Firefox, but nothing changes.

I hope I included enough information.

Do you know what could be the cause of the problem and how to resolve it?

I have the same problem, but using GPT-4, it does nothing, 3.5 works fine.

I only have GPT 3.5 at the moment. ☹️

I have the same problem. First it only didn't work with GTP-4. Now both versions are not working.

Do you still have the problem? I may have found a solution. It might be related to the alpha version of the languages, when the setting in the parameters is left on Automatic detection. You need to select a language.

Hi! I'm having the same problem! It started two days ago as well. I tried both GPT 3.5 and GPT 4 using another email, thinking that it's probably just a GPT 3.5 problem but even GPT 4 doesn't work (in several browsers and in various times). The mobile app works perfectly, but when I'm using in web, "Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com." - is the error message I am receiving.

I didn't say it doesn't works. I said it is known to be the first bug when people having issue. Sooner or later

Keep in mind web protection act like a proxy and can create more issue than solving it. Just in case you have that issue later

Hello people, can someone help please, I can log in but keep getting error message:
