Is this app supposed to match the painting to the scenery of the city it's in?

It doesn't seem too relevant right now, e.g for Toronto (a popular city with a known skyline)
I get drawings like this

I also personally find it a bit hard to tell what the weather actually it is due to it being in the impressionist style, it's hard to make out what's happening oftentimes

I love the idea, just constructive feedback, maybe a different art style would make things more clear? Or prompting the model to make it match known characteristics of the city that it's drawing the weather for?

yeah the limitations of the dall-e model are evident in this project. Sometimes the impressionistic nature of the images are really delightful, other times not as much. I haven't looked into what can be done with dall-e3, maybe that will be more interesting for you.
