I have chat history training turned off since I'm using it to code. The chat refreshes around evry 10 minutes losing all previous communication making it pretty much unusable for my use case.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've been using with chat history off for a few months and I got used to it disabling the conversation after inactivity(usually an hour). But I could still reference the old conversation and copy/paste parts of it. But this complete refresh after 5-10mins is completely new for me, as it removes the entire chat.

It must be a bug though since the behaviour has changed so much, unless it was an intentional change. Even simply from a user experience point of view, using GPT4 with chat history off wouldn't be an option anymore if you need a flowing conversation.

I'm having this happen in less then 10min. It seems like it happens when I leave the tab, but it's not a consistent behavior. When I come back, it resets the conversation, but not every time. I would imagine this is a downside of having the history off but, like OP, I've had the history off for months now and this has started happening only in the last few days. If they intentionally added this as another downside to push us to have history turned on, I wish it had been more clearly communicated.
