This is a play on a theme. Starting from an image I try to work on it. This is the starting image basically.

I liked this image composition wise, but the hands were unsatisfactory. First I tried to make a little darker in theme, though.

However I felt this very much destroyed the composition now. Next I tried adding some adjectives to the nurse to see whether that fixes the hands.

Such as being more specific with the nationality. Here "French":

Or specifying her to be "cute". This made her very moe, which I didn't like at all in the context of this image.

One thing that worked well previously to improve this kind of images is to overpaint the image with oil colors giving it a special kind of high contrast effect. The hands are still mangled though.

Have you ever noticed how many cartoon characters wear gloves? This is because hands are difficult, so I thought why not copy the masters of old?

In this image the nurse is too large a part of the image I felt. It didn't feel as lost as the original image. So I told ChatGPT to make the corridor the actual main character

That is very old-fashioned so I asked for some neon lights

That felt too outright horrific though. A hospital is primarily a place of boredom I though. So back to realism
