I have been trying to continue a conversation (actually tried on several conversations in my history) and am repeately getting this error that something has gone wrong. I'm mainly on my PC using a Chrome browser and have logged out and back in there and cleared my cache. No VPN is being used and I confirmed that it was off. I tried the same on my Android app and got a similar error that the server is having problems and to try again. I event tried on the app when no connected to Wifi.

I got that a few times today. It happened on a chat that had a multi day history. I was comparing a D&D alternate "inner planes" to RGB vs CMYK the last time, if it makes any difference.

Thank you for the suggestions. Yes, I have tried it on my Android phone, I install Firefox and have also tried it on an Incognito window. All still give the same error. "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."
I also just cleared my browser cache All Time and am still getting the error.

As you've already tried it on an Incognito window, a different browser, and on your Android phone, the next step is to try switching off your Wifi and using mobile data on your Android device.

Oh no, I feel so sorry for you! But I think your problem is slightly different from us here. We can still load chats/conversations but chatgpt just wont let us continue. While yours seems like could not do anything even loading previous chat
I am not sure if it helps, but how I overcome my problem is I tried to send a picture instead inputting text, and I think it broke the error loop. I can carry on with my conversation now.
