I was worried this might happen one day. I can't solve the catpchas Chat GPT is presenting to me currently. The ones before were a little jarring, but still I was able to get the hang of them pretty quickly. This recent one I got I literally am not capable of solving. I'm effectively locked out of Chat GPT until this is resolved.
Luckily for me, I understand neurodiversity and I don't feel bad about myself for not being able to solve the captcha. However, for many other users, it's highly possible this could make people feel inadequate seeing as the implication is that they're expected to be able to solve it. So yeah, not only can this lock people out, but it also has ramifications on people's mental health even. This isn't a small issue, especially if captchas like this become more widespread in the future (i.e. if they appear in places other than Chat GPT; if OpenAI plans on releasing their captcha system as a product which is what I predict is the case)
