Auto-recharge is exactly that. As it stands, you have to pay for credits in advance - if you run out, you will be blocked from API usage. Auto-recharge tops you off when you run low. You can still set monthly quotas in your usage limits that auto-recharge will respect.
So does this mean that there is no longer that function where we paid $5 and already had $120 in credit for the rest of the month?
I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.
is that before, the person would only pay $5 per month and they would have $120 dollars without needing to top up when the credits ran out.
@hoary jungle I had a question on this exact thing I was trying to get my gpt 4 api but there's no clear cut answers any where the only thing it dais is after may you guys were giving it to everyone that paid at least 1 so it's there any where you can place me to the right direction so I can get that... And one other problem while im here my Microsoft email giving me problems in my android gpt saying I don't have gpt plus it's there any thing I can do to fix it?
Have you paid more than $1 in the API fees, after your trial credit?
@hoary jungle yes
Note, API fees are different from ChatGPT Plus fees. I noticed you mentioned that.
