Due to the work I do, I have to set edge in high performance mode to use my main gpu. Doing that stopped. gpt 4 from working.

Because it makes it function worse with high performance mode, Just go and set it back

Isn't there a way to make it work with high performance mode on because I really need it otherwise I'm going to have to open Chat gpt in chrome.

Just downgrade it to GPT-3 or something, don't know because I'm not a expert.
