ChatGPT is starting to randomly clear the input box after finishing a response

I usually start typing while Chat GPT is generating a response. I do this because I know I want to ask it about another detail but I'd also like to see the rest of the response it's currently generating. Lately, it often clears the input box, erasing everything I typed. Ctrl+Z does not bring it back.

As you can imagine, I experience a sudden urge to throw my keyboard at a wall whenever this happens.
