I have just subscribed for ChatGPT Plus and I was told that the token limit for gpt-35-turbo is 4096 tokens, whereas the token limits for gpt-4 and gpt-4-32k are 8192 and 32768 respectively. However when I tried to utilise this in GPT-4, I was told that my input was too long and that GPT-4 is only limited to 4096 tokens. My sole reason for buying ChatGPT Plus was the greater token limit. Please advise on this persisting issue

let's assume a question is 1k tokens on average, and 1k gpt-4 tokens are $0.045 on average (from the api price)
$20/mo = 444k tokens/mo

444k / 8k = 54 questions using the full capacity of the model monthly. chatgpt plus is a bargain compared to the api pricing if you're planning to ask a lot of questions since it's fixed price
