Hi everyone! Just making a small post here to update you all on the progress of an executive AI assistant i'm currently working on (we're in alpha, applications to join are open at https://synthia.cc).

Synthia is an executive AI assistant. Each person who registers gets their own personalized AI assistant that has it's own email address and phone number.

The assistant is capable of receiving SMS messages, emails, voice messages as well as making outgoing calls, sending SMS messages and email. It helps you arrange all of your communication channels into a single stream.

You can give it tasks like "Call John and try to arrange a meeting for one day this week". We utilize a variety of APIs and services including GPT-3.5-turbo, GPT-4, ElevenLabs, Twilio and mailgun to allow for this.

I've attached a few examples of it making outgoing calls. For this, we utilize OpenAI whisper and Elevenlabs for natural sounding voices. Will be doing a writeup at some point soon to explain some of the interesting problems we encountered and how we are are overcoming them.
