same issue but for months
Try firefox as test
Edge and chrome = chromium
Also even if you turn down vpn you need to manually turn down the web protection inside the vpn
I´ll try. Thanks buddy!
I been having the same issues for weeks but only on my pc. my phone works just fine
same issues for me. turned off nordvpn and any adblockers. still not working. works on my mobile but not on my PC. any fixes?
This is ridiculous. Their only answer to every technical issue is "turn off your VPN and your ad blocker".
- Why should either of those things matter to a chatbot?
- That's not the cause of every problem that a website can have.
- Your chatbot website should work correctly even if the user has a VPN and an ad blocker.
okay so i got it working by going into nordvpn and going into threat protection and turning off web protection
not sure why thats needed to use chatgpt
It is cloudflare detection. It detects some unusual ip range and it blocks them. Million of people bypassed the geo restrictions with vpn. Wome range are ban. Also nordvpn web protection act like proxy. They are working with nordvpn to fox that issue.
It can work with adblock or vpn. But it is known to cause issue for now. So yes the first step of troubleshoot it is can you try without
We use Cloudflare Warp at work and cannot turn it off. This is an unworkable solution.
this fixed my issue in chrome
omg thanks for the fix but that is stupid though. I should be able to use my vpn without issues
Same issue and I am a paid user. Helpdesk cannot help me
probably because they're collecting EVERRRYTHING
Wow this was my problem this worked...
why is this happening? I ask it something and it talkes about something random
it does this randomly. Ill ask it to write me a paragraph on something, and then it'll give me a list of the best places to have a picnic!
and then that chat crashes and says: Something went wrong, please try reloading the conversation
Delete cookie and cache
thanks
Try firefox
Firefox works, can confirm. It's pretty dumb how it actually is...
That's means you have something creating a bug in chromium
Bad add-on/extension
Unclear cookie and cache
Disabled extensions, cleared cookies and cache before. I'm not that dumb, logging in and out also didn't help, VPN as well
If you have vpn even if off you need to manually turn off web browsing protection and threats protection
As a cybersecurity specialist, I hardly recommend against that. Just downloading another browser specifically for chatGPT will suffice
It act like a proxy that's why
