ChatGPT in browser tells me to contact you. It stopped working and it is already 24h. I was connected to VPN at that moment. It is 24h and I am not on VPN and it still does not work. It works on mobile phone on the same account. I have paid account.

New session in Microsoft Edge browser and the issue persist.

Visual Studio Code via API works. Mobile iPhone with Chrome works. Only PC browsers do not work for 24h already.

NordVPN is disconnected, but there is some Web Protection checkbox enabled.

Yes, it works now. The issue was Web Protection enabled in NordVPN even I was disconnected from VPN.

Anyway I don't understand your requirements, I have paid account and it works via API key. Only web browser writes this error.

I had to uninstall and reinstall all plugins again.

Now after 30 minutes of playing with ChatGPT 4, it removed Chat GPT Plus subscription and billing claims no invoices and invoice history is empty. I also lost all history of my prompts!!! What is happening?

I got the same issue. I haven't reinstalled any plugins, but it says i need to upgrade to plus, and there is no history of billing or prompt.

Ah, it gets error 504 and instead of JSON it returns HTML page with Gateway Error - Timeout: (chrome developer console): Unexpected token 'I', "Internal S"... is not valid JSON

I am logged in, it just defaults to GPT 3.5 and even that does not work. Any query results in "Internal Server Error" in HTTP Requests - Network tab in Chrome developer tools. I guess we just need to wait until they release a hotfix and restart API gateway server.

@marble ether I had the same initial error you posted and my nordvpn also had protection enabled. I closed it as well. I will try when they are back

@merry matrix Ok, that is good. I fixed NordVPN issue yesterday. Disabling the Web Protection in NordVPN did help. But we need to wait for OpenAI to bring the servers up now.

(I guess this web protection issue can happen with antivirus like ESET as well)

The "Something went wrong" is caused by 99% of the time by Web protection services like NordVPN

Then it should be in their readme. They mention VPN, but NordVPN was not connected to VPN! I work as software developer and it is not obvious that even u not on VPN, you need to turn off some checkbox.

I've potentially found the issue @placid belfry I've swapped networks from BT in the Uk to three mobile and it's working again. So it's something inherent to BT network and routers that is causing an issue.
