This issue has suddenly become a major issue in the last couple of days - for ages I'll quite often put in an input asking for ChatGPT to analyse a passage and then do something else while the generation takes place (as I use GPT4 this might take a minute or two for longer outputs). This is massively beneficial as I don't just have to sit there doing nothing while the text is generating. But now I've started to get network errors whenever I try to do this.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enter any input prompt while using a browser on mobile
- Switch tabs/apps
Expected result:
The text continues to generate while you are away - meaning you can check something else on your phone while generating the desired text
Actual result:
As soon as you leave the page, generation stops and a network error occurs
