I got this answer below: "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong." with GPT-4 only, GPT-3.5 works right and answers correctly.
Cleared cache, loggout, switched from Chrome to Firefox...
Nothing seems to change it and there is no status update on OpenAI official website

Same for me. I also discovered the issue on the Android app as well. I checked Safari, Chrome and Firefox -- and tried "Hello World" and the response was the same, until I click 'Regenerate' -- its inaccessible until 'Regenerate' is used.

I get this error EVERY TIME I ask a question on ChatGPT 4
Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong.
I have to hit regenerate and then it will work, but this is burning down my credits because absolutely every time I ask a question I get
Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong.
is there anythign I can do about this? I rebooted, logged out and back in, cleared browser cache. I don't see any mention of this problem in your FAQ, but this is ruining my workflow.

Are you still having this problem? I mistakenly reported that in another thread, and they told me to check the internet connection. My internet is stable, and I am not using VPN, but the issue persists all day.

Facing this from last 24 Hours for GPT-4 Only.

Everytime I give a prompt to Web UI's GPT4, for the first prompt I get

"There was an error generating a response"

Along with

"Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."

Then I press the Regenerate Button and this time it generates the full response correctly.

GPT-3.5 works right and answers correctly.

Did the usual stuff, Cleared cache, loggout, switched from Chrome to Edge to Firefox. Nothing Helped.
