moderations endpoint ratelimit

Hello,

I am here for some clarification on the moderations endpoint, I've not used it in awhile (at least 1-2 months) but I am still getting a rate limit response after trying to make a single request...

Why is this happening? I thought this endpoint was free, but if I am still ratelimited, even a month after using it what am I supposed to do? As far as I'm aware, you cannot buy access to this endpoint either? Any info would be very helpful

Error about rate limit with ChatGPT API. Initially I was getting an error regarding a tocken … on my first try I got an error saying I have hit the rate limit and should upgrade. I mean this was the first time using the APi is there a fix?

When the server load is high, it's true that the problem is common.

Ah I've seen the problem in other posts. It seems that it has been investigated.

I also suggest adding a payment method to be a payasyougo user. It will increase your rate limit.

Do you know how much this charges you? I cannot find anything anywhere about the cost of the moderations api

Thank you for the info, I linked my payment method a couple of minutes ago and made a new api key, still getting rate limits though. Hopefully it will resolve itself in a few hours, thank you 🙂
