I am Canadian in the province of Quebec.

I work for the government. It seems that since July 17, ChatGPT has blocked my employee's servers.

I get a message that I'm using a VPN??? but it's wrong. I am not on a vpn.

How can I do to unblock this situation?

I feel like OpenAI targeted my employer's IPs as a VPN server. Nevertheless, it is not the case.

What should I do to report it to OpenAI???

When I am physically in the office, I am directly connected to my employer's network by network cable. No VPN enabled.

To my knowledge, we do not use a web protection service

I need it in higher resolution to be able to see it see it. Could you send a screenshot somewhere in your settings where it says the vpn is turned off.

Maybe your organisation are using a Direct Access wich is a kind of VPN for Windows. Contact your IT to check/validate if your company is not blocking it by default.

If you are using a Direct Access you should see it on the top of your SSID list.

I really think OpenAI sees my company's server as a VPN server and blocks access to it.

We all have the same problem in my company.

On the other hand, when I go through a visitor wifi gateway, it works. The difference is that we go out on the internet with a different IP address than my company. That's why I think OpenAI is blocking my company's IP which is in Canada. And no, we don't use a VPN.

Where is the problem is that I am not able to get OpenAI checked against our company's IP block.
I really feel like I'll have to cancel my subscription because it's no longer usable for my work.

I was producing the .HAR file, when I did the test, ChatGPT works fine!!!

However, I did not make any changes on my side. Again, this morning, I had the error. Now it goes without a problem. Even when I connect remotely to my company, it works!

I tested with Chrome and Edge, both work fine!
