Let's say it's not a direct quote though, meaning no 1 to 1 text match available. A statement in some article that says "Studies show dogs are better than cats". can a bot determine there is no single source or actual study but still enable itself to review and leverage information available to create or provide some context/feedback?

an answer could be - there is no specific study that proves dogs are simply better than cats however some people prefer dogs and some people prefer cats for various reasons.

or something of that sort.
