Hello I just asked support about this but I wanted to know if it hapenned to someone and if so how many time did it take to fix. So basically I paid to renew gpt plus but it didn't do anything, yet I was charged and it shows on tha payment page of open ai that I have the right plan, yet not on the gpt chat page.
So thanks in advance if anyone has quick tips or infos about this and how it can last before getting fixed.

Here you can see I paid for my renewal
And it says I have gpt plus
But here, nothing at all, it even asks me if I want to renew and upgrade my plan as if I didn't pay anything.
I have my receipts and all though.

Go to the support page (https://help.openai.com/en/collections/3742473-chatgpt) -> bottom right icon -> messages -> send us a messages -> there's one about gpt plus not working

Same here. I just upgraded for $20 USD per month but I don't see the toggle to use ChatGPT4. I'm still using the regular free version

after reading though several threads it appears that this is a known current issue

the bot support does nothing except suggest that we wait until the issue is resolved, otherwise i'll just ask my cc for a refund

then select the issue (there is one about gpt plus not working)
and provide informations, it's always good to maximize the chances of getting gpt plus back even if they might work on fixing this for everyone

I've been considering buying a subscription to GPT-4 for a few months, and I finally made the purchase. And guess what? I'm so lucky that experiencing issues with the subscription exactly today 😄
Welcome to the club, expect downtime every now and then.
Apart from that GPT4 is pretty cool, even AI has to rest sometimes it seems 🙂

Same problem here. I have paid the subscription, but my account remains to be standard / free instead of GPT PLUS. I paid twice and nothing happens.

Same problem here! I subscribed to the ChatGPT version a few hours ago, but the version that appears on the "Your Plan" screen is still the Free version... I checked the Subscription Management screen (Manage my Subscriptions) and there my plan is listed as Plus, and it is paid out...

Yeah you can ask for a refund but that request will probably take the same time as it would take to contact someone to get it fixed for you.

same problem here. I was billed yesterday. Was using Chat GPT4 until midnight. This morning I tried to resume my work and GPT4 wasnt available.
I hope they extend the subscriptions for everyone who paid and isn't getting access to what they paid for
they need to put something up on the website or twitter, this is irresponsible !!
I know there's some expectation of instability or features coming in and out but it's not really okay to keep allowing people to subscribe to something that they know isn't working
it messed up all of my chats too
all my gpt4 chats have been converted into gpt 3
i spent a ton of time building out those contexts
Also experiencing this. Their chat option says they "typically reply within a week". So looks like I'm not getting my service for a ~week. Bummer
@loud tangle I complained on OpenAI's Twitter, if everyone here on Discord retweeted or also posted their complaints on Twitter, we could get a quick response

Sadly when you buy plus it doesnt day you get access to gpt-4 or any experimental features. Just that you have:
Availability even tho the demand is high
Faster response time
Priority access to new features.
I think they need at least 99 procent uptime.
