Being connected to the VPN would cause issues then, but I have no issues with ChatGPT while being connected to the VPN (though, I live in the US, and am connected to US servers)

Yep, I got that much. My question is why nord VPN blocks resources needed by chatgpt, when Web Protection is enabled.
As an engineer myself, I always ask why does this do that

Not a bad idea, figured I'd come here for some real human interaction - which is ironic in and of itself - first to see if anyone was already aware of why.

We've been trying to work with NordVPN on this issue for some time now. Their web protection essentially proxies all traffic through a 3rd party proxy they control and try to reserve the requests.
They way they are reserving the requests is blocked by our Cloudflare protection. I'm going to have to put a different kind of solution in place because I haven't seen any fix from their side to fix this issue for users.
