We have a company paying account (both for API and GPT Pro) and we would like to use GPT-4's API - which should be open to accounts with a successful payment history - but we didn't yet exhaust the $5 free credits that was given to our account, and it seems like we didn't yet get the GPT-4's API access. But we do have successful payment for GPT Pro... Any idea how we can get GPT-4 API access?
#Paid company account - Didn't get access to GPT-4 API

I don't know what GPTpro is, but I heard that if you use up all your free credits and make additional payments, you will get access to GPT4. However, as far as I know, there are some users who have not gained access to GPT4 even after paying additional money.
It seems that the user whose invoice has been verified has access to GPT4.
I hoped that the system will be a bit smarter than this. Or at least to allow me to cancel the free credits. But thanks for the reply.
I agree with you and wish to access GPT4 as soon as possible rather than having to spend some money: ....
- We didn't yet exhaust the $5 free credits - Should be open to accounts with a successful payment history - You are not paying yet
- But we do have successful payment for GPT Pro - It's GPT Plus, the web version not associated with the api
Any idea how we can get GPT-4 API access? Check 1.
That means that we need to use GPT3 until the $5 runs out and then wait another whole month until we need to pay for actual usage. It's such a weird way to do business... But if that's how they decided to run their business, so be it.
same here i dont have acces i dont know why
I don't see how it's weird that they cater a little more to customers that are actually paying for and using the service...
That's not the weird part. What's weird is that I can't just start paying for the service...
I need to first use up all of the free credits. It's not a big deal, just an annoyance.
I did use up all free credits and I am a paying customer and I did not get access
The announcement states the access is for all paying customers… so there is something else required not written in the announcement
Same, I want to pay, no real reason to reject my money.
Or it's just slower to roll out then they mentioned
Did you use them up after the announcement? Receive and pay a bill after the announcement? Cuz if so, you missed the window and are having to wait.
I used the free several months ago.
I Paid one bill for paid calls (at least that’s what my credit card statement shows) after the announcement.
… so it seems it’s not that “public for paying users” after all, if you have to match some weird window?
Do know what we are waiting for in this case? The next bill?
we have used well above our free credit - and our billing cycle was 2 weeks ago but still no charge has hit the CC nor has our $120 per month cap increase request been processed. I think the only solution is to move the AZURE OpenAI service
Assuming that is correct (needing to use them up before the announcement or you'll miss some "window"), a serious company should disclose such information. I think that they didn't think about all of the edge cases.
