No, C is actually older than both Pascal and Lisp. C was created in the early 1970s by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs. It was initially developed for implementing the Unix operating system. Pascal, on the other hand, was designed in the late 1960s and early 1970s by Niklaus Wirth as a teaching language.
