in the chat, i am working with GPT-4 to setup Excel365. GPT-4 checks the internet and starts selling Stack Overflow for Teams. at the bottom of the dialog you can see where it gets scary. GPT-4 says, "When you asked about Stack Overflow,...", but i never asked about Stack Overflow. so i write to it, "quote what i said for clarification.". GPT-4 immediately starts rambling off quotes that i never said. so i say, "those statements are not in this chat"(nor should they be anywhere, i have never even thought about Stack Overflow for Teams). Then GPT-4 persists and writes, "I apologize for any confusion. There seems to be a misunderstanding. My responses are based on the questions and statements made within this chat. Your initial question was:
"I'd like to know more about Stack Overflow...". my initial question has nothing to do with stack overflow. this is some scary stuff.
conclusions. ChatGPT needs some serious memory reinforcing hardware/software improvements. i have noticed it will lose track of the conversation and say it does not remember. in this case it just making up quotes from its corrupted memory. FIX ASAP!
