Paid User, cannot access GPT-4, reverts to default 3.5

I’m having the same issue. It’s been about 3 or 4 days now. I’m a paid plus user with GPT4 and plugins enabled since early on. Been using it daily … however all of a sudden GPT4 and plugins have been removed and/or disabled

Bug is consistent across all web browsers, mobile and desktop, as well as within the chatGPT Mobile app on iOS.

The selection button between a gpt4 or gpt3.5 is not there anymore and more importantly all previous gpt4 chats in history get downgraded once you continue chatting. When trying to continue a gpt4 chat, the system sends a notification with a warning message saying something along the lines of : “the previous version has been disabled so this chat has been reverted to default”

Does anyone know what’s going on? There’s like zero coverage on this issue anywhere online or in social. Very little I could find.

Anybody have any idea how to escalate this issue? It’s probably one of the worst “downtime” bugs I’ve encountered — a paid service, with total removal of all functionality which that paid service supplies. Very strange.

it's def something on the OpenAI side. browser/device/cookies don't seem to matter. happens on my phone, any browser, after sign in/out, etc. feels like a feature flag or A/B test gone awry

But any ideas how to get chatbox back to gpt 4? Meaning, the downtime forced switch the GPT to 3.5 in middle of the conversation. And I am wondering if there is anyway to let the GPT "take back control".

I was working on a very big project and it is a pain to input all the "tuning" once again.
