#Cannot switch to GPT4

Bug Report:
Cannot switch to GPT4 on mobile. The default selected is gpt3, when tapping the "gpt4✨" button, the text glows in purple like usually but nothing happens.
I can still go to "Desktop mode" and switch and start a conversation like regularly, and than switch back to normal and continue the chat.
Steps to reproduce: Open ChatGPT online and try to change to gpt4 mode. Same result when clicking on the "+" for new chat and trying to switch from there.
Expected result: It will switch to GPT4 or open the menu to let me choose which version of gpt4 I want to use.
Actual result: the gpt4 ✨ text becomes purple and nothing happens.

Browser: Firefox
Chat History is turned on.

On Mobile Web if you click on the GPT4 a second time does it work as you'd expect?

On desktop mode it allows me to switch to a different model

On mobile normal mode it just stays purple until I tap the 3.5 button (to mark it green) and than retap the 4 button where it becomes purple again and nothing happens.

If you click from 3.5 to GPT4, then click GPT4 again does it work? This is on web but a mobile device right?

I've been experiencing this issue for awhile too, since the mobile UI was updated with the slightly different model dropdown arrows. I believe all the other reports I've seen have been from mobile Firefox, perhaps all Android too.

Tapping the model a second time doesn't work, nor does tap and hold. Have to switch to desktop view, switch model, and then switch back to mobile view, or manually add the model to the end of the URL.

Just confirmed it isn't working on FF. We'll work on a fix, sorry about that ya'll.

It seems like there is a new problem, when switching to gpt4 and trying to switch to a different model (web or plugins) it doesn't work.

Basically it lets me switch to gpt4 mode but when tapping on gpt4 again to switch version it just opens for a slight second and immediately closes.

I can try to spam it but it just opens and closes quick.

i can start conversations with GPT-4 in the interface, but it is actually a GPT-3

I’m having the same issue. It’s been about 3 or 4 days now. I’m a paid plus user with GPT4 and plugins enabled since early on. Been using it daily … however all of a sudden GPT4 and plugins have been removed and/or disabled

Bug is consistent across all web browsers, mobile and desktop, as well as within the chatGPT Mobile app on iOS.

The selection button between a gpt4 or gpt3.5 is not there anymore and more importantly all previous gpt4 chats in history get downgraded once you continue chatting. When trying to continue a gpt4 chat, the system sends a notification with a warning message saying something along the lines of : “the previous version has been disabled so this chat has been reverted to default”

Does anyone know what’s going on? There’s like zero coverage on this issue anywhere online or in social. Very little I could find.
